"Brinkmanship" the Game

During our stint in Filmbase yesterday, some of the team were brainstorming additional ideas for the MuchRobbed Project. My son, Patrick came up with the idea of "Brinkmanship", the PC and X-Box360 live Game. PJ is a committed gamer. He has had a PC since the age of three, when he impressed clients (IBM and Symantec) of my practice in with his skills. He is a regular at X-Box Live in South William Street. Patrick has suggested that the game, which will be a cross between Project Gotham Racing 4 (PGR4), Microsoft, and Saints Row, THQ. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saints_Row) or follow the link to the right. The object of the game would be to collect as much cash as you can from the different CIT (Cash in Transit) companies, such as MuchRobbed etc. The game will be similar to Saints Row, but will be less violent, more skill based, indeed it may start as a "side game" in Saints Row 2. We will be talking to THQ in Woking tomorrow. You heard it here first! More details on the website www.muchrobbed.com later.

A Big Thank You to All

Thanks to all who appeared in Curved Street for the auditions yesterday. We will be sending out confirmation mails on Wednesday. The shooting of the background scenes started last week. Look back for more news. GC

A Puzzle Indeed?

We have "Slim" to thank for this one. An examination of the history of cash losses at MuchRobbed over the past 10 years has thrown up some anomalies. A number of the heists cannot be attributed to anyone. Usually the MO will point to either an ODC, The Peoples Front of Judea or The Judean Feoples Front. Just who benefited from these jobs? Perhaps the film will tell us!

A Culture of Fear

A number of persons who have mailed us are frightened to speak out, including a person who has concerns about a guard who is importing AK47'S. All confidence will be respected. We have a barrister, PR and an ex Superintendent on board. We now have two companies, one cash in transit, one guarding, who we will be asking the Minister, in questions tabled in the Dail (Parliament) to remove their licence to operate.

You Can't Polish a Turd

We have been hard at work on character development for the film "Brinkmanship" today. The Manager of MuchRobbed, Reggie, has presented a number of particular problems. How do you depict someone so sleazy. Well, we think the we are nearly there. Our challenge was to make him comply with the following description, - "You Can't Polish a Turd" We think that we are just about there.

Marketing Plan - Brinkmanship

The MuchRobbed team have decided to publish an outline of thier Marketing Plan for the film "Brinkmanship". A number of students of a well known Dublin College have offered to assist with the project. The Plan will be published on Tuesday morning. 10.00gmt.

Brinkmanship

A cornerstone of our project is a film and a book entitled "Brinkmanship"

This work will show how, in a fictional security business, universal deceit has become the norm. Please bear in mind that these are the people that are carrying round all of the cash that belongs to you, care of the banks!!!

The basic story has been written, the transfer to a screenplay is almost complete and advice is being given by a film producer of note.

Look back tomorrow for details of the films progress.

The Project Explained

'During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a Revolutionary Act'

The words of George Orwell ring true in the Ireland of 2007. At a time when virtually no-one believes the explanations of certain leading politicians, from the Taoiseach down, and universal deceit has become a way of life in sections of the Irish Business Community, just who can be trusted?

Welcome to the MuchRobbed Project Blog

Hi, my name is Gerry Creechan and I am the founder of the MuchRobbed Project. This Blog will keep you up to speed as the project moves on. I intend to blog as much of the activities of the project as possible, but please be patient. The very nature of the project means that activities will be moving on at such a pace that at times it will be difficult to keep you up to speed; but I will try my best.
